Charmaine Depaynos-Mayo

Assistant Vice President, Corporate Compliance, Bank of Hawaii

Charmaine Depaynos-Mayo is Assistant Vice President of Corporate Compliance and a Bank Secrecy Act/Money Laundering Investigator. She joined Bank of Hawaii in 1993, while pursuing her college degree in Justice Administration and Psychology. Charmaine has worked in Branch Banking, Client Services, and presently in Corporate Compliance. She and her husband, Mark, live in a large household with eight individuals. The individuals range in age from 22 months to 74-years old. She is also a caretaker for her 80-year old father who lives in his own home.

Grace Henderson

Vice President and Manager, Enterprise Operations Division, Bank of Hawaii

Grace is responsible for overseeing operational corporate excellence initiatives as well as analytics within Enterprise Operations. Grace joined Bank of Hawaii in 2016 as a Strategic Analyst for the Private Bank. She’s held various positions within the Strategic Analytics Team before being promoted to Planning Manager in the Branch Division in 2018.  Grace is a graduate of Punahou High School and holds a BA in Psychology from Whittier College.  A mother of two young boys, Grace has also discovered a new passion for gardening while living with the pandemic.

Lavinia Kila

Unit Manager, Client Services Division, Bank of Hawaii

Lavinia Kila is a Unit Manager in the Client Services Division (CSD) and is responsible for managing four service groups: Kalai Services, Tele-Sales, Online Services and Specialized Services. She joined Bank of Hawaii in 2015 and has served as a call center supervisor and a member of the CSD Training and Development Team prior to her current role. Lavinia was recognized as a Step Up to Excellence awardee in 2019. She lives in Makakilo and is a single mother of two children.

Fiona Hayashi

Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Fiona Hayashi is a marriage and family therapist and licensed mental health counselor, with a special interest in maternal mental health, teen girls, divorce and co-parenting. She is also on the faculty at Punahou School. Fiona is a graduate of Chaminade University and the University of Waikato in New Zealand. She practices in Honolulu and is a single mom and co-parent of two boys.

Yunji de Nies

Yunji de Nies co-hosts Spotlight Hawaii, a Facebook livestream for the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, along with Insights, a weekly public affairs program on PBS Hawaii. For five years, Yunji anchored the evening news on KITV and before that worked as a White House and National Correspondent for ABC News, based in Washington D.C. and Atlanta. She graduated with honors with a degree in political science from Yale University and holds a Master's Degree in journalism from UC Berkeley. Yunji grew up on the Big Island and is a mother of two.
